This recording has French SRT & Speech Discrimination recorded to the left channel with Mulit-talker Noise recorded to the right channel. The French lists were recorded with a Parisian talker. Although the Multi-talker Noise is spoken in English, it is considered suitable competition for since the words are unintelligible babble.

This versatile recording can be administered for masking, speech in noise, or words in quiet. With a dual-channel audiometer, the administrator can set their own signal-to-noise ratio by mixing the left and right channels. They can access the left channel only to administer the word lists in quiet.
