The Ethiopian Lists© recording includes single syllable, spondee, and sentence lists in the Amarigna, Tigrigna, and Oromiffa languages. This test recording was developed by Professor Miriam Redleaf of the University of Illinois Section of Otology/Neurotology. The  speakers are Zenebe Asgedom (Amarigna), Zenebe Asgedom (Tigrigna), and Solomon Fikre (Oromiffa) with the expertise of Raymond Abecombie as audio engineer. Unlike English basic word lists, these word lists do not use a carrier phrase.

The Ethiopian Lists© include a) audio recording and b) word and sentence lists as printable files. This product does not include instructions or normative data. It is assumed that purchasers of Auditec’s auditory tests are well trained in the use, purpose, and interpretation of basic tests.

For instance, French PB Words Form 1 includes all four lists of 50 words for a total of 200 words. French Form 2 includes the same 200 words in a different sequence. The same is true of French Forms 3 and 4. The French PB Words Form 1 (the standard word list) is usually sufficient unless you plan to retest the same patient using the same French word list.

The Sound Effects Recognition Test© (SERT) Picture Book is a spiral-bound book that consists of a manual and 30 pages of color glossy drawings. This book corresponds to the Sound Effects Recognition Test (SERT).  Customers who already own the SERT recording can replace their lost or damaged picture book by purchasing this product.

The SERT Picture Book includes the picture book with manual only. The extensive manual contains administration, scoring, and interpretation information. Age-specific normative data is included for ages three to six.
