The Rapid Alternating Speech© is an auditory processing disorder test for both children and adults using verbal stimuli. This binaural interaction test is sensitive to the low brainstem. It consists of a series of sentences that alternate between the ears as they are spoken. The period is 600 msec. with a 50% duty cycle (i.e. 300 msec. per ear).
Rapid Alternating Speech© includes a) audio recording, and b) instructions and sentence list. The one-page instructions includes information on administration, scoring, and interpretation.
