Tennessee test of rhythm and intonation

The Tennessee Test of Rhythm & Intonation Patterns© (T-TRIP) was developed to reliably investigate children and adults who exhibit poor rhythm and intonation patterns. Basically, the test looks at the ability to perceive different rhythm and intonation patterns. The recording contains stress, tempo and intonation items. Music symbols are employed to identify the patterns. Watch the video! See below.

The Tennessee Test of Rhythm & Intonation Patterns© includes a) audio recording, b) instructions and score form as printable pdf files. The extensive instructions include information on administration, scoring, and interpretation. Normative data is provided, but it is not age-specific since 100% is expected by children and adults first grade and higher.
