Connected Discourse©, also known as cold running speech, can be used to determine Most Comfortable Level-Uncomfortable Level (MCL-UCL). The male talker reads “Dissertation on a Roast Pig” by Charles Lamb in a monotone voice, and a female reads from “On Walden Pond” by Henry David Thoreau in a monotone voice.
